The Vore Buffalo Jump is open to the public June 1st – Labor Day, 8 am to 6 pm. Entrance fee is under 6 Free, ages 7 to 12 is $5 and 13 and above is $9. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about the increasingly famous Vore Site as well as the larger picture of the cultures that Plains Indians built around the buffalo.

The paleo guys went bananas for this stuff and it was the rock of choice at the Vore buffalo jump a hundred odd miles north. The Angostura point type was from a piece of Spanish Diggings as well. Definitely a unique and challenging stone. It's role in the prehistory of the High Plains makes seeking the stone a worthy endeavor. Best of luck!!
